Kickboxing Grading

  • 25 British pounds
  • Oxford Road

Service Description

A grading is a martial arts examination. A successful student will be awarded a belt that denotes a rank in their martial arts' progress. The format for the grading is the same as a lesson and will last approximately 1 hour. During the grading students are tested on what they have learned throughout the semester. The grading is designed to be a tougher version of a normal class and will encourage a student to push themselves out of their comfort zone. The reward is a certificate of status that is widely recognised on CVs and a belt to be worn at classes. The cost of the grading includes the lesson (£4) and will also include a kickboxing licence (otherwise priced at £15).

Cancellation Policy

Classes can be cancelled up to 6 hours before the class is due to begin. Cancellations after this point will still be charged for the lesson. To cancel or reschedule your booking please go to the members' area to manage your booking. UPDATE: Any cancellations from the 20th October 2021 will be refunded as class value (£5) minus the booking system's admin fee (£0.28). The Kickboxing Society is charged a handling fee by the booking system which does not get refunded when a booking is cancelled. Unfortunately therefore we can only offer a partial refund for cancelled classes. Your class can instead be rescheduled free of charge. Reschedule your booking by logging in to the site on desktop or mobile, then navigate to the members area where you can manage your booking. On mobile, click on the burger menu and select the dropdown next to your username > select home. This will take you to the members area where you will see a dropdown menu. Select "My Bookings". From there you can reschedule to a different class.
